Job Description

Job Description Overview We're seeking a Data Product Owner / Data Migration Analyst to support a major modernization initiative focused on migrating data from a legacy mainframe environment to a modern platform using Informatica. This role is heavily focused on backend data processes, ETL workflows, data mapping, and translating complex legacy business logic into modern solutions. This is not a reporting, dashboard, Power BI, or data visualization position. Key Responsibilities Gather and document business and technical requirements for data migration initiatives. Partner with stakeholders, developers, architects, and data engineers to define migration and transformation requirements. Translate mainframe business rules and data structures into modern system requirements. Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs. Support source-to-target mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities. Drive Agile delivery and act as the bridge between business and technical teams.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Experience supporting data migration, data conversion, or system modernization projects. Strong understanding of ETL processes and backend data workflows. Experience working with legacy/mainframe data environments. Ability to translate complex business processes into functional requirements. Agile/Scrum experience and strong stakeholder communication skills. Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud (IICS). Mainframe technologies such as DB2, VSAM, COBOL, or IMS. Data warehouse, data integration, or enterprise data platform experience. Experience with large-scale modernization initiatives.
