UST is looking for a strong Oracle PL/SQL with expertise in database development, performance tuning, ETL/data integration, and large-scale data processing.The opportunity:
- Develop and maintain Oracle database objects: Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance using EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, indexing, partitioning, and query tuning. Implement bulk data processing using BULK COLLECT and FORALL.
- Design and support ETL processes, batch jobs (DBMS_SCHEDULER), data migrations, and integrations.
- Create and optimize logical and physical data models ensuring scalability and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, deadlocks, locking problems, and refactor legacy PL/SQL code.
What you need:
- Should have 6 years' experience as a PL SQL developer or as Oracle SQL developer
- Should have minimum 4 years' experience in Query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Proven expertise in performance tuning and high-volume data processing is must have
- Should have proven expertise on Bulk data processing, JSON/XML handling, LOB/CLOB management and Data Modeling Retail / Enterprise Applications.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.
- Strong hands-on Oracle database development experience must have.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also important for this role.
