Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Technician I to join our Integration Center team. This is a hands-on technical role working with servers, switches, storage, racks, cabling, and related data center equipment. We value technical aptitude, curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving ability more than a long list of certifications. We can train motivated candidates who learn quickly. What You'll Do
  • Install servers, switches, storage, PDUs, and related equipment into racks.
  • Follow rack elevations, BOMs, cable matrices, port maps, and work instructions.
  • Install and route copper, fiber, DAC/AOC, console, and power cabling.
  • Support power-on, connectivity, firmware, configuration, and burn-in activities.
  • Use established automation and validation tools.
  • Collect and verify asset information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses.
  • Document completed work, defects, rework, and validation results.
  • Recognize problems, troubleshoot appropriately, and escalate when needed. What We're Looking For
  • Strong technical aptitude and motivation to learn.
  • Curious, self-starting, and comfortable solving problems.
  • Able to follow detailed technical instructions and diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation.
  • Basic computer hardware or networking knowledge is helpful, but direct data center experience is not required.
  • Relevant education, certifications, or hands-on technical experience are a plus, not a requirement. We can train the technical skills. We are looking for motivated people who learn quickly, take initiative, think through problems, and take pride in doing quality work. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform hands-on technical work throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely handle and install data center equipment in accordance with company safety requirements.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work around server racks, tools, and cabling.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
