Hi , Our client is looking for Data Center SecOps Engineer for a long term project and below is the detailed requirement.

Years Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent with 12-13 years overall IT experience 7+ years of experience in Security Operations / Infrastructure Security Strong experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point firewalls Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and network segmentation Experience with Linux and Windows server security hardening Experience with vulnerability management tools like Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7 Understanding of Zero Trust and defense-in-depth security models Experience supporting incident response in enterprise environments
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to security alerts using SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and related tools Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis, containment, and remediation Secure data center infrastructure including firewalls, servers, virtualization platforms, and network devices Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking Support firewall management, VPN security, segmentation, and access controls Collaborate with SOC, Infra Ops, NetOps, and Cloud teams during incidents and operational activities Maintain security documentation, SOPs, and compliance evidence Support compliance initiatives including
ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI
DSS, and HIPAA Participate in automation, SOAR integration, and continuous security improvement initiatives
