Job Description

SQL Database AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to manage our database environments, ensure performance, and maintain high availability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data systems, optimizing queries, and supporting mission-critical applications.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environmentsMonitor database performance, optimize queries, and tune indexesPerform backups, restorations, log shipping, and disaster recovery testingConfigure and support high-availability systems such as AlwaysOn, clustering, or mirroringManage database security including roles, permissions, encryption, and auditsTroubleshoot database failures, corruption, long-running queries, and performance bottlenecksSupport developers with schema changes, stored procedures, and data migrationsMaintain documentation of schemas, configurations, and DR proceduresAssist in ETL processes and reporting activities
