Onsite Engagement:

Long Term Contract We're seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator with deep expertise in DB2 for z/OS and enterprise mainframe environments to support mission-critical database infrastructure for our customer. This is an advanced-level DBA opportunity for someone who has extensive experience managing, optimizing, supporting, and recovering large-scale production database environments. What You'll Do Perform daily database administration and operational support across

DB2, SQL

Server, Oracle, and GIS environments Plan, design, implement, and support enterprise database structures Monitor and tune database performance Support DB2 for z/OS upgrades, catalog maintenance, and point-in-time recovery Review SQL code and provide database optimization recommendations Develop and maintain DBA procedures and technical documentation Support infrastructure implementation and change-management activities Assist with disaster recovery planning and technical validation Train and mentor other technical staff Required Experience 10+ years of combined database administration experience involving: DB2 for z/OS, Oracle 10g or later, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012 Candidates must have advanced or in-depth experience with: DB2 for z/OS administration and application integration DB2 performance monitoring and tuning DB2 upgrades and catalog maintenance DB2 subsystem point-in-time recovery IBM z/OS mainframe environments
