Job Description
Data Center Technician New Hampton, IA 40 Hours per week Full-Time | Days Hours will fall between 7a-7p Monday through Sunday $18 - $24 / hour We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Data Center Technician to support daily operations within a fast-paced technical environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring specialized equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting skills, and experience working in industrial, manufacturing, data center, or technical environments. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on technical equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete diagnostics to minimize downtime Replace components, perform cleaning, and assist with equipment maintenance activities Monitor system performance, uptime, and operational conditions using software tools Resolve tickets and document maintenance, repairs, and equipment status updates Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and infrastructure support projects Support network connectivity troubleshooting and basic configuration tasks Maintain accurate inventory, equipment locations, and operational records Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, or electronic systems Ability to use technical software and digital documentation systems Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures and noise levels Why Apply Hands-on technical role with growth opportunities Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Opportunity to develop troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills in a high-demand industry Apply Today!
