Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Technology Engineer - Hybrid for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Itasca, IL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity that requires 4 days per week on-site.

This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of infrastructure technology solutions within a data center environment. The ideal candidate will leverage technical knowledge to build and maintain systems, with direct experience in physical data center operations including hardware management, cabling, and support.

Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain infrastructure technology solutions using technical knowledge and industry experience

Develop softwareponents and hardware for projects, aligning them with business strategies

Independently solvemon problems and update applications with new technology

Collaborate with engineers, architects, developers and other staff to meet project objectives

Analyze the technological needs of customers and provide ongoing support

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Direct experience with physical data center operations (rack-and-stack, structured copper and fiber cabling, hardware break-fix, and asset management)
• Solid understanding of power, cooling, and physical security controls
• Experience with standard tooling such as ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB, and DCIM systems

Desired skills:

Administrative experience

Knowledge of risk assessments and enterprise architecture frameworks

Pay range: $39.00 - $44.00 per hour
