Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies. < Manages operations of multiple data center sites, driving the strategic direction for performance and health analysis, mentoring teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and security goals. Responsibilities include directing capacity evaluations, resolving complex technical issues, implementing advanced automation in issue triage, and establishing best practices and a continually evolving knowledge base. The role also sets strategy for incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement while collaborating across functions. Additionally, it oversees regional expansion projects, acts as a key liaison with project and engineering teams, and leads strategic planning for installations, repairs, inventory, logistics, and large-scale infrastructure upgrades, providing executive-level recommendations and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Data Center Site Portfolio Management:
- Multiple Data Center sites.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Drives the strategic direction of performance analysis for health and performance of the data centers, mentoring team members, and aligns findings with business line objectives.
- Guides strategic evaluation, mentors team members, and aligns proposals with security and performance goals.
- Directs analysis of physical, power, and cooling capacity, and ensures proactive issue resolution.
- Drives collaboration across functions to set the strategic direction of continuous improvement efforts in alignment with industry best practices, and mentors team members.
Issue Management and Automation:
- Directs support for escalated complex technical issues, establishing best practices across the business line.
- Transforms issue triage and mitigation strategies through pioneering automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools.
- Identifies, documents, and certifies issues, processes, and solutions, ensuring the data center knowledge base is authoritative and continually evolving.
- Informs strategy for incident or crisis management protocols in alignment with business continuity plans.
- Oversees Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following crises or incidents, and updates documentation to capture process improvements.
Data Center Expansion Support:
- Oversees and strategizes the direction of all new region builds and expansion activities, both onsite and remotely.
- Acts as the key liaison with project teams and data center engineering, ensuring strategic timelines are met and overarching capacity needs are effectively managed for all expansion projects and site builds.
- Collaborates with project teams on the most critical aspects of expansion projects and site builds to achieve and maintain world-class standards.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Sets strategy for installations, repairs, inventory management, and logistics tasks, providing oversight and mentorship to senior teams.
- Oversees and directs large-scale component replacements and upgrades.
- Provides executive-level recommendations for data centers purchases or upgrades and oversees comprehensive implementation.
- Leads high-level strategic planning for rack deployments, installations, and network physical infrastructure upgrades/changes.

- Develops innovative solutions and drives the implementation of ideas that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, protocols, and workflows across the organization.

Hiring Range in USD from: $114,600 to $234,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
