In this role, you will administer systems and databases supporting DCDC analytic platforms, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

Fort Meade, MD.

Tasks include:

Administer Linux/Windows systemsManage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)Perform routine backups and recoveryMaintain system security and patchingMonitor logs for errors and intrusionsSupport system scalability requirements

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associates degree with 10 years of experience, or HS with 12 years of experience.

Strong Linux/Windows administrationDatabase administration experienceBackup and recovery proceduresSecurity hardening knowledgeScripting skills (SQL, Bash, PowerShell)Must obtain an IA certification such as CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or CCSP within 60 days of hire.

U.S. Citizenship requiredDoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
