An ETL Developer develops, tests and maintains the process of data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), a data warehousing process used for pull data out of source systems and load them into a data warehouse solution.
As a Senior Ab Initio ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining complex Ab Initio ETL applications and graphs. You will work on developing enterprise-scale ETL solutions, automating data loading processes, and optimizing ETL performance. This role requires expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, Unix/Linux scripting, SQL, data warehousing, and AWS S3.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and maintain complex Ab Initio ETL applications and graphs Develop enterprise-scale ETL solutions and data integration pipelines Automate data loading from multiple sources into BI/MI systems Build ETL frameworks for audit and data reconciliation Perform performance tuning for high-volume data processing Automate ETL and data migration jobs using Linux scripting Support code migration and Ab Initio lifecycle activities Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions Ensure compliance with SSA security, privacy, and data management policies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, Master's degree with 5+ years of experience, or 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree Experience in Federal/Public Sector projects preferred Agile project experience Automated testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI) Architecture and roadmap development skills Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities Expertise in Ab Initio ETL Development, Ab Initio GDE/Co>Operating System, Express>IT & DQE, ETL/Data Integration, Unix/Linux & Shell Scripting, SQL & Data Mapping, Data Warehousing, AWS S3 & Continuous Flows, ETL Performance Optimization, Data Reconciliation & Audit Frameworks
