This role is responsible for administering and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning of Oracle databases and applications. Daily tasks include monitoring database health, managing backups and recovery, applying patches, ensuring security and compliance, and troubleshooting application and database issues. The Senior DBA collaborates with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure staff to optimize system performance, support deployments, and resolve production incidents. The role may also involve documenting procedures, contributing to architecture improvements, and advising on best practices for Oracle EBS and related database technologies. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration for enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with Oracle Applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and working with complex Databases supporting mission-critical systems. Strong Patch Management skills, including planning, testing, and applying patches and upgrades to Oracle databases and applications. Proficiency in performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, database security, and high availability configurations. Experience in on-site, production support roles, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and change management. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and document processes effectively. Candidate must be a senior resource with experience with R12.2 and be able to work independently. No junior resources !!!!! Goldengate and Exadata is a plus Initial schedule is 5 days onsite Contract is 6 months
