In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that ensures our data center operates efficiently, reliably, and securely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise directly impacts the stability of our mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in data center or critical facility environments and possess a strong understanding of essential building systems. Duties Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and physical security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mission-critical building systems such as UPS systems, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all critical systems. Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to plan upgrades, expansions, or modifications to the data center environment. Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports for compliance and continuous improvement purposes. Respond promptly to system alerts or failures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of data center services. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a secure working environment. Qualifications Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working in a data center or critical facility environment. Demonstrated experience with mission-critical building systems including UPS systems, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, power management, and environmental controls within a data center setting. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently and effectively. Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications related to data center operations or electrical systems are preferred but not mandatory. Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
