Job Description
Treasure Island Resort & Casino is seeking a Database Administrator to support our 24/7 hospitality and gaming operations. You will manage, secure, and optimize SQL databases powering casino systems, hotel, food & beverage, and guest services. Responsibilities include performance tuning, backups, recovery, and user access control in a regulated environment. You'll collaborate with IT, applications, and analytics teams to ensure reliable data for reporting and compliance. Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and tune SQL databases supporting casino and resort operations Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with gaming and data regulations Troubleshoot database performance and availability issues in a 24/7 environment Collaborate with application, IT, and reporting teams on database changes and deployments Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and procedures Support reporting, BI, and analytics needs with reliable data structures Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations Required Skills SQL database administration Database performance tuning Backup and recovery planning High availability and clustering Database security and access control
