Prior data center or critical facilities experience 1+ years of experience in asset collection, facilities/MEP, or CMMS data entry preferred Entry level acceptable with strong equipment ID aptitude MEP Equipment Identification

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for data center technicians
•These resources will enter MEP equipment specifications into CMMS tooling. Data entries include Site, Room Location, Build ID, application and data entry of barcode Asset Tag ID , Manufacturer, Model, Serial Number and Tag Plate ID. The majority of equipment details exist within the tooling dropdown selection. If a new manufacturer/model of equipment is identified during the collection process, then an asset category will need to be assigned to the model. Asset collection performed by this resource will be reviewed by
AWS CMMS
Engineer prior to upload into the CMMS system to ensure data accuracy. Resource will also be required to perform equipment audits within legacy DCs. This will involve scanning existing asset tag IDs into CMMS audit tooling to validate the asset specifications as listed above and provide any updates required. If any new equipment is identified during the site audit, the equipment will be gathered as per process listed above.
