Job Description
Quad is seeking a Distribution Technician to support reliable, secure delivery of digital and print marketing assets. In this role, you'll prepare, stage and route files and data for distribution through automated systems, manage queues, monitor jobs, and troubleshoot issues that impact on-time delivery. You'll work closely with operations, technology and client teams to meet SLAs, maintain data integrity, and follow strict quality and safety standards. The position also supports continuous improvement by documenting processes, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting workflow or tool enhancements in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment. Responsibilities Prepare and stage digital and print marketing files for distribution Monitor job queues and distribution workflows to meet SLAs Operate and support automated distribution and scheduling tools Troubleshoot distribution errors and resolve file or data issues Verify data integrity and follow quality control procedures Collaborate with operations, IT and client teams on scheduling needs Document procedures and update run books and work instructions Track and report distribution metrics and exceptions Support continuous improvement and workflow optimization initiatives Follow all safety, security and compliance policies Required Skills Digital asset management Workflow monitoring tools Basic data and file management Troubleshooting technical issues Quality control procedures Scheduling and queue management Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools Basic scripting or automation familiarity Documentation and process mapping Ticketing or incident management systems
