A leading financial services company is hiring a Developer Engineer - PL/SQL Developer to support their New York City based team. This temp role is based at our client's home office in NYC, with hybrid on-site requirements on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. PL/SQL Developer Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and sustain scalable applications using Java and related technologies. Write clear, efficient code and ensure proper documentation following industry best practices. Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas. Automate tasks and support deployment through shell scripting for system monitoring. Work collaboratively with teams across QA, DevOps, support, and product management to ensure quality and performance. Developer Engineer -
PL/SQL Developer Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' professional experience in PL/SQL (Oracle). Proven proficiency in shell scripting languages such as Bash or KornShell. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns. Experience with version control systems like GitHub. Exposure to Linux/Unix environments; cloud platform knowledge and familiarity with Spring Framework are preferred.
