Data Center Technician

Description We are hiring contractors to support a Data Center Farm Refresh at NVIDIA's Reno data center . This is a contract-only opportunity (not contract-to-hire).

Must Have:

• DC Tech 1 experience focused on installation and deployment work Nice to have : Move servers and switches to required destination for installation.

Inspect servers and switches to make sure that they are not damaged in any way. Smoke test servers to ensure that server is functioning as intended. Install servers and switches and cable it according to provided wire map. Make sure that all cables ran are bundled neatly and in accordance with Nvidia's standard. Check with network admins to make sure everything is cabled correctly, and all connections are up. Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory). Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed. Auditing of servers and consumables. Decommission and removal of any assets required per rack. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
