What You'll Do:
Serve as the RDBMS subject matter expert and architect for complex projects, translating business requirements into scalable, efficient database solutions and recommending technologies, designs, and process improvements.
Partner with application owners and technology leadership to develop short- and long-term strategies, assess vendor products, anticipate future requirements, and advise on the technical and operational impact of proposed changes.
Lead or oversee complex project execution, production support, testing, issue resolution, and integrated testing activities to ensure reliable solutions with minimal risk and disruption.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced team members while collaborating with vendors, architecture teams, and internal stakeholders to strengthen technical capabilities and support staff development.
Own and support business continuity, auditing, risk, regulatory, and internal-control activities while identifying opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, efficiency, and overall technology value.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 8 years of experience in RDBMS
Minimum 10 years of experience in working simultaneously on multiple projects of a complex nature.
Minimum 10 years of experience in leading large system and RDBMS enhancements, conversions, and production problem resolution.
Minimum 10 years of experience in working with others to independently connect disparate ideas into cohesive solutions.
Minimum 10 years of experience in leading problem-solving efforts and lead in issue resolution.
Minimum 10 years of experience in SQL Azure configuration/automation management
Minimum 10 years of experience in SQL Platform Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in Ansible. Terraform, Powershell Knowledge

Minimum of 3 years' experience with Bank applications, framework, business needs and RDBMS direction and framework.

Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities in RDBMS project analysis, design, development, troubleshooting and tuning efforts.
Mastery level understanding of multiple RDBMS skills, tools and functions with advanced knowledge of operating systems.
Previous experience in banking RDBMS support.
CAPPM experience.
Ability to understand businesses supported and their terminology.
Ability to encourage teamwork and serve as role model when leading and directing others.
Ability to understand technical, business and operational impacts of a project or problem.
