50%•75% Travel Across the United States Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center QA/QC Engineer (MEP/Cx) to support mission-critical data center construction and commissioning projects across the United States. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in data center commissioning, MEP QA/QC, field engineering, construction quality assurance, and equipment energization support. The selected candidate will execute and support the client's QA/QC program throughout multiple commissioning levels (L1-L5) while ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and documentation standards are maintained on-site. This is a full-time traveler role with project-based assignments and covered travel expenses. Key ResponsibilitiesQA/QC & Field Engineering Review MEP project drawings, approved submittals, specifications, and construction documents Perform incoming equipment inspections and complete receiving checklists using required software platforms Conduct preparatory phase meetings with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project readiness Review and inspect MEP system mockups and installations per project specifications Perform field inspections and ensure proper execution of QA/QC procedures Support equipment startup, energization activities, and commissioning readiness Documentation & Reporting Track and manage QA/QC deliverables during L1-L3 commissioning phases Review and organize: NETA testing documentation TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) reports Short Circuit Study reports Torque/Megger test documentation Startup and energization reports Maintain and update records in Procore or other designated software systems Record observations, deficiencies, and inspection findings during site walkthroughs Manage punch lists and ensure timely issue resolution and closeout Commissioning & Coordination Assist in development of MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for critical systems and equipment Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and field personnel Ensure all set-in-place inspections are completed properly Perform foreign object debris (FOD) inspections within MEP equipment when required Conduct final inspections prior to L3 energization Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and site safety requirements Support overall safety awareness and enforcement on active construction sites Maintain adherence to

electrical safety practices Required Qualifications 3-5 years of Data Center construction or commissioning experience 2-5 years of QA/QC or field engineering experience Strong understanding of: Data Center MEP Systems Commissioning Processes (L1-L5) QA/QC procedures and documentation Equipment startup and energization Experience with: Procore Cx Alloy and/or Facilities Grid NETA testing documentation TAB reports Short Circuit Studies Punch list management Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and submittals Excellent communication and coordination skills Self-driven and capable of working independently on active project sites Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. Preferred Qualifications OSHA-30 Certification
