Informatica /IDMC Developer Ohio, Cincinnati 09/02/2026 Contract Active
Job Summary
We are seeking an Informatica / IDMC Developer with at least 5 years of Informatica experience, including 2 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The role will support data engineering and integration initiatives involving IDMC/CDI, Snowflake, SQL, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes. The ideal candidate will be capable of gathering and translating business requirements into technical requirements, performing impact analysis, supporting solution validation and UAT, and coordinating effectively across business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for data engineering, ETL, and data warehouse initiatives.
- Develop and support data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC, including Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
- Work with Snowflake architecture, data modeling, data ingestion, and data transformation processes.
- Perform impact analysis across source systems, ETL processes, and reporting platforms.
- Use SQL for data analysis, data validation, troubleshooting, and solution verification.
- Apply data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT methodologies to data integration initiatives.
- Create functional specifications, process flows, solution documentation, and requirement traceability artifacts.
- Coordinate requirements and technical discussions between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams.
- Support solution validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and requirement traceability.
- Participate in Agile activities including user story development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
- Support enterprise data integration workflows and data architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage multiple priorities and deliver data engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Informatica.
- 2+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Strong understanding of IDMC, including Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and data integration concepts.
- Around 7 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Warehouse projects.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, data ingestion, and data transformation concepts.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Knowledge of data integration workflows and enterprise data architectures.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
- Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation.
- Ability to coordinate between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams.
- Experience supporting solution validation, UAT, and requirement traceability.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud data platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
- Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Informatica Data Quality, Data Governance, or Metadata Management solutions.
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management concepts.
- Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services domain.
