Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Senior Developer to support, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials applications and related finance systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Finance development, PeopleTools, Oracle SQL, batch processing, integrations, and production support. The role requires excellent troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to identifying automation and process improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support PeopleSoft Finance applications using Application Engine, SQR, SQL, File Layouts, Component Interface, and BI Publisher.
- Reapply and manage customizations during PeopleSoft application updates using PeopleTools 8.60; PeopleTools 8.58 experience is acceptable.
- Troubleshoot issues within PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, including AP, GL, PO, AM, T&E, and eSettlements.
- Write, analyze, and troubleshoot complex Oracle 19c SQL statements, including SELECT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.
- Troubleshoot failed PeopleSoft Finance processes and jobs and create new processes or jobs as required.
- Use PHIRE to migrate code and execute SQL scripts.
- Support other finance software systems, including Oracle EPM.
- Support Control-M jobs, including troubleshooting batch script failures and file transfer issues.
- Update FTP and PGP connection information within WS-FTP software on Windows servers.
- Work with Windows and Linux scripts to support application and operational processes.
- Perform manual operational activities, including collecting SOX evidence within PeopleSoft Finance and other software systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes to implement effective solutions.
- Document technical solutions, processes, issues, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to resolve application and production issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of assigned issues and tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft Finance (FCSM) applications.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine, SQR, SQL, File Layouts, Component Interface, and BI Publisher.
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.60; PeopleTools 8.58 experience is acceptable.
- Experience troubleshooting PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, including AP, GL, PO, AM, T&E, and eSettlements.
- Strong experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL statements using Oracle 19c.
- Experience troubleshooting PeopleSoft Finance processes, jobs, and batch processing.
- Experience with Windows and Linux scripting.
- Experience using PHIRE for code migration and SQL script execution.
- Experience supporting Control-M jobs and batch processes.
- Experience troubleshooting FTP and PGP file transfer processes.
- Experience with WS-FTP on Windows servers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of challenging operational and development tasks.
