SUMMARY:

Senior/Experienced SQL Server DBA. Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, account control, log file review, back-up, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems throughout the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of SQL server databases Configure and maintain database servers and processes Monitor all SQL server and DB system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Support mission critical application Installation and configuration of SQL server instances following Microsoft best practices Support and implementation of new applications at different phases Assist in managing SQL licensing status Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

BA in Computer Science Certifications in security a plus 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role Experience with MY SQL Server Administration experience a plus 10+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) 10+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models 10+ years of experience in High Availability (HA) and/or Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server 10+ years of experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
