Job Description
The ETL Developer provides high quality, data driven, technology solutions that address business needs.
Hours:
Monday- Friday 8am
- 5pm EST in office for the first 90 days and then hybrid schedule option
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Create and support data load processes via SSIS (SQL Server Integration System) and database refreshes Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications Development/management of schema data model through all data warehouse environments Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) Design and develop ETL programs to extract data from transactional database systems and load to the Data Warehouse using SSIS (SQL Server Integration System) Create technical design documentation, which includes database design models and ETL program specifications for the implementation of the data model Create and maintain documentation as it relates to data configuration, mapping, standards, and processes Maintain mappings of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality Understand technical requirements and confirm that needs are met or exceeded Provide appropriate information to elicit or help clarify around the requirements Complete all required training applicable to this position Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position Other duties, as assignedQualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered 5 years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/ 2008 R2/2012/2014 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge of ETL processing. SSIS Technology preferred Hands on experience with ETL data integration, enrichment, consolidation and aggregation; capture and transformation; error handling High-level development skills and experience with Complex T-SQL Experience with Data Warehousing Methodology and best practices, Kimball preferred Experience and familiarity with the following: MS Office Products, MS CRM, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents.Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation is $67,770- $84,713/year Paid Time Off (PTO)
