Entry-Level Data Center Technician TEKsystems $20.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, South Carolina, Summerville Aug 18, 2026
Overview:
- We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Data Center Technician (Level 1) to join a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, route, and secure cabling throughout a data center environment.
- Scan, label, and document equipment using a computer system.
- Support installation and build-out tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar).
- Comfortable working on ladders and/or lifts for extended periods (10-hour shifts).
- Strong work ethic and a consistently positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance history and dependability.
- Ability to work overtime, including occasional mandatory overtime.

Have Skills:
- Experience with Cat5 cabling.
- Basic electrical knowledge or hands-on electrical experience.
- Military experience or similar disciplined work environment.

Work Schedule & Environment:
- Work performed primarily in data center environments.
- Typical construction team schedule:
Monday-Friday:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PMSaturday:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM- Up to 58 hours per week.
- Alternative schedule (production team):
- Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s) with optional overtime.
- Overtime is required as needed

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.
