Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Technician - III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing complex telecommunications and data center systems. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of critical network infrastructure, fiber optic systems, and communication equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment, supporting the backbone of modern digital communication. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering and design packages to execute network deployment projects. Review bills of materials (BOMs) to verify all required equipment and materials are available prior to installation. Assemble, install, and secure network hardware according to company standards. Install, route, and patch pre-terminated fiber optic cabling. Label network hardware, cabling, and connections accurately. Assist network engineers with provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Capture and submit project deliverables, including photographs and installation documentation. Provide daily project status updates to team leads and customers. Collaborate with other technicians to complete large-scale deployments efficiently. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful project execution. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and storage locations. Support other internal teams during periods of lower project activity. Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Travel extensively (up to 100%) based on project requirements and customer locations. Required Qualifications Proficiency with Google Workspace applications, including Google Sheets and Google Docs. Ability to read and follow engineering documentation and standard operating procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout work areas for extended periods. Ability to regularly carry equipment, including a 20 lb. ladder. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. multiple times throughout the workday. Willingness to travel extensively as required. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
