Overview Join a dynamic team as the FM Engineering Operations Manager for Data Center facilities, where you will lead and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational excellence of critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will manage a skilled facilities maintenance team, implement safety protocols, and coordinate projects that uphold the highest standards of industrial maintenance and engineering troubleshooting. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize facility performance while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams responsible for mechanical systems repair, electrical systems management, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance activities. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards and industry best practices. Oversee the management of facilities management software (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate projects involving HVAC, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, and schematics interpretation to ensure timely completion within scope and budget. Conduct engineering troubleshooting to diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics analysis. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections, safety audits, and training sessions for team members on OSHA standards and facility safety protocols. Manage facilities maintenance management activities by planning schedules, allocating resources effectively, and supervising team performance to meet operational goals. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize energy efficiency in data center environments. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in industrial or data center settings. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, HVAC systems (including HVAC troubleshooting), electrical systems (high voltage/low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures within industrial environments. Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple ongoing projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. Mechanical knowledge combined with engineering troubleshooting capabilities using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematic diagrams. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts effectively, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting, documentation, and team coordination.
