Duties Perform detailed electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on AC/DC electrical systems using advanced diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Conduct field service activities including installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic equipment within the data center infrastructure. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting guides to accurately diagnose issues. Repair and replace electrical components using hand tools and soldering techniques while adhering to safety standards. Test electronic systems and computer hardware to identify faults and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and operational records. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and support network infrastructure maintenance. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or field technician specializing in electronic equipment repair and electrical diagnostics. Hands-on experience working with AC/DC electrical systems, schematics reading, soldering, and electronic troubleshooting. Familiarity with computer hardware components, networking concepts, and electronic equipment testing procedures. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, along with electrical blueprint reading expertise. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform engineering troubleshooting across various electronic systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience working in data centers or similar high-tech environments is preferred but not required.
