BS CS / EE

/ CE or related degree or professional experience working in PostgreSQL. 5+ experience with Sybase RDBMS technology stack (ASE, REP, etc), systems management tools and implementing new features and functionality, performance tuning, planning, and executing database and replication server upgrades, applying EBF/SR patches, disaster recovery planning and testing. 3+ years of experience conducting general database administration tasks such as developing

POSTGRESQL

Server database objects, database server implementations, database architecture and schema design, code deployments, backups, and creation of DB authentication principals, system, and query performance tuning. Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting techniques using system logs, event logs, cluster logs, enhanced logging configurations for related subsystems, and system metadata catalogs. Knowledge of virtualization and experience with virtualized database environments. Working knowledge of AWS cloud platform services and infrastructure, including supporting and administering database workloads in AWS environments, as well as experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and Terraform. Python, T-SQL, or other scripting experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of professionals.
