- We are hiring a Senior Electrical Commissioning Specialist
- Data Centers (L4/L5) to lead onsite electrical commissioning activities for mission-critical data-center projects.
This position will perform and lead QA/QC inspections, functional-performance testing, equipment and system startup, and owner-side commissioning. The specialist will document and oversee L0-L3 activities and lead L4/L5 integrated testing while working directly with clients, contractors, project stakeholders, and operations teams.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience At least 10 years of progressive electrical commissioning experience Two to three years of focused data-center commissioning experience Experience documenting L2/L3 activities and leading L4/L5 testing Experience with utility infrastructure, life-safety systems, electrical power, low-voltage systems, facility systems, or facility operations and maintenance Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA, and NICET electrical testing and code requirements Strong understanding of construction and system-startup processes Ability to travel up to 95% Preferred qualifications: Residence in the Washington, D.C., or Northern Virginia metropolitan area Industry-recognized commissioning certification Infrared thermography Level I or II certification AWS or comparable L4 lead certification
NFPA 70E
certification OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 preferred Experience with power-quality meters or PQMs Travel expenses may be considered for the right candidate.

$60.00
