- Experienced with facility support functions in mission critical environment ideal Job Description An employer is looking for a Data Center Technician in the Herndon, VA, area.
They will be working in a large data center facility and with a small team to perform customer service operations and maintenance of the data center network facilities. They will be responsible for weekly checks on the systems, responding to customer service tickets, and running monthly and quarterly tests. The candidate will be working with generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection devices, and security systems. They will also be doing basic cabling; circuit installation; data center installation of cages, cabinets, ladder racks, fiber trays, customer maintenance issues, and facility maintenance.
