This role requires expertise in Oracle and SQL Server databases, with a focus on performance optimization, data integrity, and security in mission-critical environments. Responsibilities Lead database administration team supporting enterprise applications Manage Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database environments Design and implement database architectures and data models Perform database performance tuning and optimization Develop and maintain PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures Monitor database health and proactively address issues Manage database patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities Ensure database security and compliance with DoD standards Coordinate with application teams on database requirements Implement data replication and high availability solutions Mentor and develop junior database administrators Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 8 years of database administration experience Minimum 3 years in team leadership role CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified:

Azure Database Administrator Expert knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c and SQL Server 2016/2019 Proficiency in PL/SQL and T-SQL development Active Security Clearance Required Desired Qualifications Experience with PostgreSQL or other open-source databases Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure

SQL, OCI
