Overview Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing high-tech data center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems that keep our data centers running smoothly. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver seamless digital services worldwide. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical systems, including AC/DC power supplies, circuit boards, and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on complex equipment, interpreting schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to identify issues accurately. Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to repair or replace faulty components on electronic systems and circuit boards. Maintain and test computer hardware components, including servers, networking devices, and peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support field service activities by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructure within the data center environment. Diagnose issues related to electrical troubleshooting, electronic systems troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Document all maintenance activities thoroughly in accordance with operational procedures and safety standards while providing excellent customer service to internal teams. Skills Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for troubleshooting and repair purposes. Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, electronic equipment testing, and electrical soldering techniques. Experience with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electronic testing devices. Skilled in using hand tools for precise repairs and maintenance tasks within high-tech environments. Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic networking principles to support system integration efforts. Ability to interpret engineering troubleshooting procedures effectively for complex electronic systems. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption in data center operations. Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
