Must be a U.S. Citizen Job Overview Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician II to support data center and critical infrastructure projects in a fast-paced operational environment. This individual will be responsible for performing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of IT infrastructure while working independently on moderately complex tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting data center operations, structured cabling systems, server and network hardware, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure. This role will also serve as an escalation point for junior technicians and collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data center infrastructure components. Perform hardware installations, replacements, and upgrades. Support structured cabling deployments and cable management activities. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for servers, network devices, and associated infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues. Interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and work instructions. Support project implementation and infrastructure deployments. Serve as an escalation point and mentor for Data Center Technician I personnel. Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and vendors while adhering to safety and operational standards. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in data center, telecommunications, or IT infrastructure environments.
Hands-on experience with:
Structured cabling Hardware installation and replacement Equipment troubleshooting Rack and stack activities Strong understanding of data center best practices and physical infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and work instructions. Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for servers and network devices. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment. Valid/Unrestricted Passport Required Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent technical or military experience. Relevant networking, server, or infrastructure certifications.
Safety certifications such as:
OSHA NFPA 70E

Pay:
$26.49 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
