POSITION SUMMARY
- CVS Health is seeking a Senior Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) to support, optimize, and automate enterprise Db2 for z/OS and IDMS database environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Administer and support enterprise Db2 z/OS and IDMS databases across production and non-production environments, including structural changes, application releases, and database migrations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- + 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Db2 for z/OS Database Administrator, including database design, maintenance, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- + IDMS Database Administration knowledge + Db2 Distributed (DDF) support + z/OS Db2 maintenance and upgrade support + Stored procedure development/support experience + REXX scripting experience
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
