Coordinate nGage research study activities to ensure proper implementation of project protocols and procedures. 2. Coordinate the identification, recruitment, and enrollment of research participants, conduct study visits, facilitate behavioral interventions, and collect/store data per protocol. 3. Conduct Quality Assurance activities to monitor study operations to ensure minimal risk to participants, ensure participant confidentiality, and that daily operations are consistent with current Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals. 4. Oversee the collection, storage, management, and quality of data for the nGage research study and the Health Education department. 5. Assist in the development and communication of data quality standards. 6. Collect baseline and follow-up data from nGage study participants. 7. Maintain interim contact with study participants to manage client files (address, phone, etc.). 8. Regular communication with other departments for continuity of care and referrals. 9. Participate in all nGage study-related professional development trainings and meetings. 10. Uses the REDCap database system to collect, organize, store, and evaluate all study data. 11. Continually develop data management strategies and systems for the Health Education department. 12. Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.) 13. Work closely with the Director of Health Education on strategic projects including training, system improvements, reporting and documentation. 14. Liaison with the Director of Health Education, and other departments and staff as needed, to ensure that both the needs of the program and the needs of QA/CQI program are being met in a timely manner. 15. Conduct HIV and Hepatitis C testing as assigned. 16. Participate in outreach events for testing, community education, and HIV/Hepatitis C awareness as assigned. 17. Educate the community on chronic and infectious disease, not limited to HIV, STD, and viral hepatitis. 18. Provide tailored and culturally sensitive educational materials for youth, minorities and the LGTBQIA+ community. 19. Network with other agencies for referrals. 20. Work collaboratively with other LGBTQIA+ and allied agencies for outreach aimed at building organizational capacity. 21. Submit program reports to Director of Health Education by assigned deadlines. 22. Attending regular Health Education and staff development meetings. 23. Participate in agency Program Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance activities and initiatives. 24. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and experience with Motivational Interviewing. Knowledge of HIV transmission, prevention, and disease processes. Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse populations. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to establish and maintain effective team relationships with other community organizations and the public. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Software Access Microsoft Office CAREWare HADIS eClinicalWorks REDCap Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in public health, sociology, counseling, social work or a related field and two (2) years' experience in social work, community engagement, infectious disease, or HIV prevention, treatment or care. Equivalent experience or credentials will be considered.

Special Note:

Must maintain a current Alabama Driver's License. Working some evenings and weekends is required. This position is responsible for working with the Director of Health Education to plan and implement project tasks including the coordination of the Project nGage Hybrid Randomized Control Trial ("nGage"). The position is responsible for the implementation and data management activities for the project and supports the Continuous Quality Improvement plan implementation for the Health Education department.
