Job Description

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Auburn CA based client to identify a Director of Data to lead enterprise data governance, analytics, and quality programs across the organization. This role oversees the development of a unified data strategy, ensures regulatory reporting accuracy, and drives data-informed decision-making across clinical and operational teams. The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare industry experience, hands-on HEDIS and GPRA reporting expertise, and the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Salary Range:
$175,000-$210,000100% onsite
Responsibilities:
Lead unified data governance strategy, ensuring data quality, security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.

Build and standardize datasets, resolve data quality issues, and integrate governance tools with EHR, CRM, and data warehouse systems.

Oversee advanced analytics initiatives, transforming clinical and population-health data into actionable insights.

Manage mandated reporting including HEDIS, GPRA, OSHPD/HCAI, PCMH, and other state/federal requirements.

Direct Quality and Health Information Management teams, ensuring meaningful measurement of patient care and patient experience.

Partner with leaders on process redesign, performance improvement, and clinical standardization.

Champion ethical data use, organizational data literacy, and a culture of data-driven decision-making. Skills & Qualifications Healthcare industry experience, with strong hands-on expertise in HEDIS metric reporting and GPRA dashboards.

Proven ability to interpret complex data, tell the story, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience.5+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare data management and 5+ years in healthcare quality improvement.

Strong understanding of population-health methodologies, healthcare quality measures, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-leadership skills.

Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare data privacy regulations.

Preferred experience with EClinicalWorks, a Master's degree, and familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10 standards.
