This is a seasonal position located on-site at our Modesto Cannery. The Seasonal Data Trace Lead oversees daily Data Trace activities and serves as a resource for Data Trace Clerks by coordinating workloads, ensuring compliance with established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The Seasonal Data Trace Lead will be expected to work at least 6 days a week during our Fresh-Pack Season from mid-July to late September. Our Cannery runs 24/7 so flexibility to work any shift (Days, Swing or Graveyard) is required. This position will be primarily responsible for: Lead and coordinate daily Data Trace operations to ensure all required testing, monitoring, and traceability activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Assign, prioritize and balance workloads for Data Trace Clerks to ensure adequate coverage across production lines and shifts while meeting operational demands Verify proper programming, deployment, retrieval, and data collection processes for Data Trace probes and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality and reliability. Review and validate probe readings, data integrity, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Monitor adherence to Data Trace procedures and regulatory requirements, promptly escalating out-of-specification results and supporting corrective actions as needed. Maintain inventory, organization, calibration schedules, maintenance records and repair tracking for probes, data loggers and related equipment. Train, coach, and support Seasonal Data Trace Clerks on procedures and documentation requirements. Conduct audits of Data Trace records and processes to verify compliance with company standards. Assist Quality Control Management with process improvements and implement efficiency initiatives. Develop and maintain daily staffing plans and workload schedules to ensure timely completion of Data Trace activities and effective utilization of resources. Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least working one season with Stanislaus Food Products. Ability to read and write and communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and support employees in a team-based environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic recordkeeping systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Flexibility to work varying schedules as operation needs require.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 50% or more standing. The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
