Minimum qualifications:

Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 6 years of work experience with a PhD degree. 3 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

PhD degree in statistics or other advanced quantitative degree with significant relevant statistics experience. 10 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 8 years of work experience with a PhD degree. Experience in working with personalization and cross product. Experiences with driving product growth and engagement. Responsibilities Manage a group of data scientists that is part of a broader data science organization in Core Experience that aims to provide analysis capabilities to the Ecosystem Growth team. Work with cross-functional partners, primarily within the People Platform pillar of the broader Growth, Identity, and Ecosystems (GI&E) organization, to understand opportunities to improve the connection, sharing, and identity experience for Google users. Support our team in carrying out analysis to support the People Platform organization in identifying the best opportunities for improving user journeys across products in the Google ecosystem. Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to improve and mature the broader organization's capacity to quickly make quality, data-driven decisions.
