We are currently seeking an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Manager to join our IT team in Deerfield Beach, FL. This role will serve as the primary EDI resource for North America, supporting operations in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. The EDI Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving EDI integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365FO and ensuring seamless connectivity with key retail and distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day EDI operations and serve as the primary point of contact for EDI-related matters across North America. Oversee the full EDI lifecycle, including trading partner onboarding, mapping, testing, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing support. Maintain and support EDI integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) and third-party EDI platforms such as Cleo. Ensure accurate and timely processing of EDI transactions, including purchase orders (850), invoices (810), ASNs (856), and acknowledgements (997). Troubleshoot and resolve production-impacting issues in real time, minimizing disruption to customers and internal operations. Support major retail and distribution partners requiring compliance with strict EDI standards and timelines. Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Accounting, and Operations teams to align EDI processes with business workflows. Assist with ERP updates, enhancements, and customer go-lives to ensure system stability and continuity. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within the EDI environment. Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 7-10 years of progressive EDI experience in a manufacturing or enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT. Hands-on experience integrating and supporting EDI within Microsoft Dynamics 365FO. Experience working with third-party EDI providers such as Cleo. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
