This role will standardize financial data definitions, rationalize hierarchies, and ensure audit-ready, scalable reporting across all finance use cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and implement a canonical financial data model across ERP, subledgers, and reporting systems. Standardize financial dimensions and hierarchies Lead redesign of financial hierarchies for external, management, and operational reporting. Establish data governance frameworks, including master data, lineage, and auditability. Ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements across all financial data processes. Rationalize current systems landscape and define target-state architecture. Improve close process efficiency and reporting accuracy. Act as a cross-functional leader across Finance, IT, Data, and Business teams (Accounting focus initially). Long-term team responsibilities Finance Transformation, Systems & Data - No Leader Currently - Think it's Leader + 2-3 folks. EXPERIENCE

10-15+ years of experience in finance systems, data architecture, or finance transformation. Experience in a public company or highly regulated environment. Deep understanding of financial statements, consolidation, and reporting. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data platforms. Strong knowledge of SOX and audit requirements. Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide data and systems initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
