RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Quincy, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and analytics environments
• Build and maintain scalable data solutions that support reporting, forecasting, customer insights, and business decision-making
• Define data standards, governance policies, security controls, and access management practices
• Partner with business and technology teams to establish data requirements, integration standards, and quality expectations
• Develop and oversee master data strategies across key business domains
• Establish data quality, lineage, monitoring, and observability frameworks
• Support privacy, compliance, and data protection initiatives through technical controls and governance processes
• Drive AI and advanced analytics capabilities by enabling trusted, well-governed data foundations
• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and review processes
• Mentor technical team members and provide architectural guidance across data initiatives
• Create and maintain a long-term roadmap for data, analytics, and AI capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical roles
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale modern data platforms in production environments
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks
• Experience implementing master data management and customer data strategies
• Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development practices and modern software engineering standards
• Advanced skills in SQL and modern data engineering technologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, establish standards, and drive successful project delivery The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
