SME AWS Architect (Data Lake/Aurora) [$391k/yr+]

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered.
Architect scalable solutions for a rapidly growing, petabyte-scale data lake. We are seeking an AWS Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Aurora PostgreSQL to drive complex schema normalization, manage high-volume data onboarding, and transition container workloads from EKS to ECS/Fargate.
Summary:
- Provide AWS solutions architecture and Aurora PostgreSQL database management for petabyte-scale data systems.
- Facilitate schema normalization and orchestrate containerized workloads across AWS EKS and ECS/Fargate.
- Support security controls for ATO compliance and mentor engineering teams on CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree:
Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 3+ years of Data Lake / Aurora
Total Compensation:
$391k+ yearly
- Manage Aurora PostgreSQL scaling and data normalization across multiple onboarding schemas within a petabyte-scale data lake.
- Assist with security controls management to support ATO milestones for sensitive data environments.
- Coach junior team members on modern CI/CD practices and multi-environment delivery pipelines.
- Expand containerization capabilities from Kubernetes (EKS) into Amazon ECS and Fargate.
- Interface with AWS engineering and technical account management to troubleshoot and optimize cloud architecture.
