THE WORK

As a Database Engineer

• Mid Level ), you will be required to: Contribute to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions Innovate RF signal processing applications Provides technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis Develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software Project long-range requirements for database administration and design Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls Develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.

e., simple to complex systems) Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and builds complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies

The program is on fire for cyber. In support of our customer, members of the team are responsible for providing full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training and sustainment for collection and antenna systems.

Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Uses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements. Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation. ## Basic Qualifications o Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance o Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases to include but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, Mongo and Redis. Experience with SQL and the associated tools (SQL Developer, etc…) o Experience developing long and short-term requirements for database administration and design

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
