Full Job Description Roles and Responsibilities:

This role is designed for a technical leader who doesn't just want to manage a team, but wants to architect the very foundation of how data moves, lives, and tells a story. We're looking for a Director of Data Analytics who can bridge the gap between deep-stack data engineering and modern, front-end delivery. As the Director of Data Analytics, you will be the primary architect of our data ecosystem. You won't just be "looking at charts"; you will be refining our SQL foundations, automating complex workflows via the Azure suite, and ensuring our data seamlessly powers our modern headless CMS architecture. You are the bridge between raw numbers and actionable business intelligence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Architecture :

Lead the optimization, scaling, and maintenance of our SQL databases. You will ensure high availability, performance tuning, and the structural integrity of our data warehouse.

Azure Ecosystem Management :

Architect and manage robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps. You'll be the "traffic controller" for data moving across our enterprise.

Hybrid Database Architecture :

Mastermind the optimization and scaling of both enterprise SQL and modern Postgres environments. You will oversee our Supabase implementation to ensure real-time data sync and seamless backend-as-a-service functionality. Modern Web Integration (Headless CMS & React) : Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure our data architecture perfectly supports React.js applications. You'll optimize how data is fetched, cached, and displayed in a headless, decoupled environment. Business Intelligence (BI)

Leadership :

Oversee the design and deployment of dashboards used at all levels that provide real-time, high-impact insights into business health.

Strategic Oversight :

Define the long-term data roadmap, selecting the right tools and methodologies to keep us ahead of the curve. Required to work 40-45 hours a week which may include Saturdays and Sundays This does not include ALL responsibilities; this is just a simple breakdown. Duties can be added or taken away at any given time

Technical Requirements:

SQL Expert :

Deep expertise in complex query optimization, database design, and procedural SQL.

Azure User :

Hands-on experience with the Azure stack, specifically Data Factory, Logic Apps, and the broader Azure SQL environment.

Modern Web Context :

Understanding of headless CMS architecture and how data feeds into decoupled front-ends.

Data Visualization :

Proven track record of building intuitive, "at-a-glance" dashboards (Sisense, Power BI, Tableau, or custom-built solutions).

AI Integration :

Experience (or a very strong proof-of-concept) utilizing Perplexity or similar AI APIs to enhance data discovery and searchability.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$115,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and a 401(k) with company match .
