Columbia, Missouri (On-site, Full-Time) Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Design and implement the organization's data architecture to ensure efficient data management, data integration, and data governance. Play a critical role in defining and implementing a scalable and robust data infrastructure that supports the company's analytical and operational needs. This position requires expertise in data modeling, database design, and a deep understanding of data management principles.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) as a Data Architect or a similar role, with a focus on data architecture design and implementation typically required. Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, database design principles, and data management best practices. Proficiency in Snowflake, dbtLabs, Astronomer, Qlik Replicate and Relto is desired. Advanced Proficiency in data modeling tools and languages, such as ERwin, ER/Studio, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Experience with data integration technologies, such as ETL/ELT tools and data integration platforms. Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lifecycle management. Strong understanding with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design scalable and robust data architectures. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
