COORDINATOR OF DATA AND ASSESSMENT

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Data and Assessment will serve as an integral part of the central office team with an emphasis in data management, assessment and accountability. S/He will assist with strategic planning and program implementation. The Coordinator will be motivated, a self-starter, an excellent presenter and committed to transforming educational opportunities for students in Dublin City Schools. S/He will have significant educational leadership experiences with teaching and learning, data systems, assessment development and professional development.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree or higher, preferred Five years or more successful teaching experience with at least three years administrative experience, preferred Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication Valid Ohio Certificate as an administrator Experience and knowledge in literacy assessment and database/presentation software Skilled with emerging technologies and spreadsheets Such alternatives to the above as deemed appropriate by the Board of Education
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
In collaboration with the Department of Academics and Student Learning, school leaders, and teacher leaders the Coordinator of Data and Assessment will support teams with: Data Collection, Analysis, and Use to drive instruction Balanced Assessment Development and Implementation Accountability Supervises and coordinates all of the state mandated assessments district-wide in collaboration with other district office departments as appropriate to the assessment. Coordinates appropriate assessments for the Dublin City School District, which includes state assessments. Receives, distributes and collects testing materials throughout the year for the district and state testing programs. Trains School Test Coordinators in appropriate District and State testing procedures. Monitors state testing to ensure all regulations and rules are followed at the district level. Collaborates with other departments on the implementation of assessments required by state or federal law. Coordinates and monitors the district assessment compilation system. Participates in professional development specific to testing, data, and assessment. Follows Test Procedures for District Test Coordinators as outlined in the state rules. Demonstrates a focused understanding of the protocols and policies set forth by the Dublin City Schools Board of Education specific to the duties of District Test Coordinator, including test security. Ensures the safety of students. Establishes and maintains cooperative professional relationships. Remains free of any alcohol or nonprescription controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout employment in the district. Exhibits professional behavior, emotional stability, and sound judgment. Serves as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, and intelligent human beings. Understands the legal responsibility to help instill in students the belief in, and practice of, ethical principles and democratic values. Maintains confidentiality and respect for confidential information at all times. Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
