Program Description:

The Office of Public Safety (OPS), Division of Safe Neighborhoods' (DSN) program, Pushing Progress Philly (P3), will serve Philadelphians who are at least 18 years old, at elevated risk of gun violence, and resistant to typical interventions. Program components include street outreach, case management, transitional jobs, coaching and behavioral health curriculum. P3's goals are to reduce disparities between neighborhoods, particularly economic well-being and community safety disparities, increase opportunities for Black men to participate in the workforce and to have increased economic security, and improve neighborhood safety, with a reduction in gun violence, fewer homicides, and safer streets. Neighborhoods of P3 program delivery currently include Germantown and may expand to other identified neighborhoods. This Data and Performance Coordinator role is part of EDSI's function as the Job Coaching and Transitional Jobs role in the P3 ecosystem. Scope of Position Oversee day-to-day data processing, quality assurance procedures, and performance reporting to ensure contract benchmarks are successful met or exceeded. Serve as the lead expert in the data system of record, providing training and technical assistance to staff Reconcile monthly reports on program outputs Collaborate with team on payroll and wage expenditures Review, assess and recommend improvements to all policies related to data capture Support and improve program operations, data capture, and report writing and generating capabilities Essential Functions Work with DSN, leadership team and direct staff to ensure effective and efficient data management, service delivery, and compliance with federal, state, and local policies and procedures Analyze performance and compile and submit monthly reports to funder; develop quality improvement plans when necessary Enter, edit, retrieve, and validate data in appropriate tracking and databases, and perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and prepare reports related to program activities Manage the development of new project reports and modification of current reports, as needed Collaborate across staff to ensure prompt support is provided regarding performance tracking and billing questions Attend all system of record trainings and serve as the team expert, providing technical support and training as needed Present data and report to leadership in a clear and effective manner, using graphs, tables, and other methods Execute cross-functional team collaboration to identify barriers to performance measures and recommend data processes to better capture services and outcomes Serve as the ISO Representative and manage monthly file audits Develop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of performance, record keeping, and distribution of data along with other types of office/program systems Collaborate with P3 leadership and Transitional Jobs leadership to track monetary line items and quality check tracking of stipends and transitional job wages Attend all meeting coordinated by funder Other opportunities as available Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree required Experience in human service, public safety, and/or workforce development programming required Experience in various learning management systems and/or customer relationship management platforms required Working knowledge of data management and database design principles. Proficient in project management software such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project. Experience in analyzing data and translating data into reporting formats for a stakeholder audience Excellent interpersonal communication skills 3-5 years of data management experience Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude Individuals with criminal records and/or lived experience with community violence are encouraged to apply Experience working with justice-involved populations, demonstrated knowledge of challenges facing justice-involved populations Knowledge of and experience working with Philadelphia communities Most be comfortable with local travel and have access to reliable transportation EDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
