Who We Are:
Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is a charitable 501(c)3 organization founded in 1990 that helps low-income single parents break the cycle of poverty and create a more secure future through the power of education. By combining scholarships with mentorship, career-focused workshops, and emotional support, ASPSF provides a true hand-up, equipping parents to succeed in school, work, and life. Today, ASPSF serves single parents in 68 of Arkansas's 75 counties, and Bowie County in Texas.
Overview:
The Data & Performance Manager will be a strategic thought partner within the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) team and will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Data & Performance Manager is responsible for building and maintaining organizational dashboards by tracking performance metrics in strategic priorities. This role manages program data, customer relationship management (CRM) data, key performance indicators (KPI) reporting, and grant reporting processes that give staff and stakeholders a consistent view of outcomes. The Data & Performance Manager translates raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role, sitting at the intersection of the scholarship program, fund development, and administration, that helps organizational leadership set and execute strategic priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as primary administrator of CRM and scholarship management platform. Design, build, and maintain dashboards to track organizational and program-level KPIs in real time. Establish standard reporting timelines for staff and stakeholders. Automate recurring reports. Develop and enforce data entry protocols, validation rules, and perform regular data audits. Train staff on proper CRM and scholarship management platform usage. Analyze trends and surface insights that inform programmatic and operational decisions. Support annual planning and budgeting with historical performance data and forecasts. Work with the development team to align program data with funder-specific metrics and reporting templates. Track grant-related outcome data throughout the grant period. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making through education, accessible tools, and clear communication. Present findings to the board, leadership team, and external stakeholders as needed. Perform other related duties as needed and assigned.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
Arkansas resident. Broad knowledge of data analytics, statistics, public policy, and comprehensive knowledge of higher education systems, student success initiatives, and institutional practices. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, performance management, or program evaluation, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting. Hands-on experience administering a CRM and maintaining data quality standards. Proficient in building dashboards and reports and/or advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership or boards. Advanced knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office and G Suite applications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with constituents of different interests and backgrounds. Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of current auto liability insurance required.
