The Director, Data Products & Strategy will lead the vision, strategy, execution, and governance of enterprise data products across the organization. This role will ensure data assets are delivered as trusted, compliant, and high-value products that support critical business decisions within a highly regulated financial services environment. The Director will partner closely with Technology, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business stakeholders to align data investments with enterprise priorities, establish consistent data product management practices, and build a scalable organization that balances innovation with regulatory expectations.

What you will do:

Define and own the enterprise data product strategy and operating model.\nEstablish and manage domain-based data product portfolios, including customer, transaction, risk, and operations domains.\nTranslate enterprise strategy into multi-year data product roadmaps supported by clearly defined value cases.\nLead, mentor, and scale a team of Data Product Managers.\nEstablish standards for product discovery, requirements definition, documentation, and delivery.\nFoster a culture of accountability, outcomes, and continuous improvement.\nOversee the delivery of complex, cross-domain data products and data platforms.\nEnsure alignment among data product teams, data engineering, and analytics functions.\nRemove organizational blockers and manage dependencies across teams.\nPartner with Data Governance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to embed controls within data products.\nEnsure data products meet regulatory requirements related to privacy, lineage, auditability, and data retention.\nEstablish clear ownership, stewardship, and accountability for enterprise data domains.\nServe as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders.\nCommunicate data product strategy, progress, and value to executive audiences.\nBalance competing priorities across business units while driving enterprise alignment.\nDefine success metrics for data products, including adoption, data quality, and business impact.\nTrack return on investment and ensure data initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.\nDrive continuous optimization of the enterprise data product portfolio.

What you will bring:

8 to 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years focused on data, analytics, or platform products.\n5 to 6+ years of experience in people leadership or senior product leadership roles.\nExperience working in financial services or another highly regulated industry.\nStrong understanding of enterprise data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming technologies.\nStrong understanding of analytics, business intelligence, and metrics layers.\nExperience with data governance practices, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.\nProven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives at the enterprise level.

What will set you apart:

Experience with cloud-native data ecosystems such as AWS, Snowflake, or Redshift.\nFamiliarity with data mesh or domain-oriented data product models.\nA background in analytics, engineering, or quantitative roles.\nExperience presenting to executive leadership and governance forums.
